The Gemmologists Association of Sri Lanka (GASL), the only professional organization in the gem trade will hold their annual Gem Exhibition Jewels 2009 On the 12th and 13th of December at the BMICH Committee Lounge. This will be an exhibition of Gems, Minerals, Jewellery and Gemmological equipment. The main aim of this exhibition is to enhance the knowledge of the general public on the various aspects of Gems and Gemmology.
This year too, there are competitions to select the Best Cut Gemstone, Gem Studded Jewellery, Crystal and Gemmological Photograph said Ruzwan Kamil, Chairman Jewels 2009.
