1. Master of Science or Postgraduate Diploma in Gemmology from University of Peradeniya
2. Graduate Gemologist (GG) qualification by the Gemological Institute of America (GIA)
3. Diploma in gemmology by the Gemmological Association of Great Britain (FGA)
4. Deutsche Gemmologische Gesellschaft E. V., Germany (DGG/FGG)
5. Diploma in Gemmology (DGem) by Gemmologists Association of Sri Lanka (GASL)
6. Certificate in Gemmology by University of Moratuwa
7. Any other qualifications in gemmology awarded by any other Institute, acceptable to the EXCO of the GASL |
