As the President of Gemmologists Association of Sri Lanka (GASL), I have the great pleasure of addressing you.We are just at the start of our collective journey and there is so much more untapped potential in gemmological science that can contribute to global gem trade. Having partners with the National Gem & Jewellery Authority, universities, research institutions, other relative government institutions and specially having a strong relationship with the traders, Gemmologists Association of Sri Lanka is looking forward to direct the gem & Jewellery trade towards a sustainable development by academically and professionally to transform Sri Lanka into a Gem hub
